How we work with recipients

SightLife is a non-profit global health organization solely focused on eliminating corneal blindness worldwide. We evaluate every recovered tissue in-house and process it promptly according to surgeon’s specifications and the exact needs of the recipient. Together, with the generosity of each donor and our surgeon partners, each day we restore sight in nearly 50 men, women and children globally.

SightLife cornea recipients range in age from 2 weeks to 98 years. But each has a strong bond in common — deep appreciation for the kindness of the donor who gave them the gift of sight. The links at left can tell you about others who have received a cornea transplant. There is also the opportunity to write a letter to the family of the person who gave you the gift of sight.

If you'd like to share your story with us, please contact our Family Services Manager.

I am expecting my first grandchild ... and I look forward to being able to see my grandchild as she/he grows up.
